Madison Argandona

Miss Long Island 2020

Madison loves calling Long Island her home and being crowned as the Miss Long Island 2020 is a dream of a lifetime. She lives in Stony Brook and is presently attending St. Joseph's College in Patchogue where she will graduate with four certifications in education with a concentration in psychology. Madison is no stranger to the profession of teaching. She is following in the steps of her mother and grandmother to teach elementary and special education children. Her motto is, “Children are great imitators so give them something great to imitate.” Madison also wants to pursue her master's degree in school counseling and work as a guidance counselor, guiding students towards their own career paths.

Madison is a sister of Sigma Delta Tau and has learned through her experience that incredible things can happen when women support other women. During her reign Madison's platform will focus on domestic and teen dating violence through her message, “Love is Respect.” All women deserve to be in positive relationships that are based on respect, equality, safety, and trust. Educating and spreading awareness on how to identify when a relationship is unhealthy is important to prevent and break the cycle of abuse.

Madison's passion for pageantry began at the age of eleven. Since then, she has earned several titles and in 2018 made top 5 in the Miss New York Teen USA®️ Pageant out of more than one hundred fifty contestants. She placed third runner up, and it was at that pageant that she heard about Miss Long Island®️Pageants. She loves everything about competing, but her favorite events are evening gown and swimwear.

When Madison isn't in school or working at the boutique, she spends her time in a variety of ways. She loves her pets; Bean a mini lop rabbit, and Coco her cockatoo parrot. Additionally, she volunteers for a local animal shelter fostering ill or abandoned kittens. Other hobbies include keeping up with the latest fashion trends, kayaking, physical fitness and nutrition, spending time with friends and family, and fine dining.

Now that she is Miss Long Island, she is eager to facilitate her platform, her journey to Miss New York USA, and her responsibilities as a title holder.

Chloe Jones

Miss Long Island Teen 2020
Miss Congeniality Teen Division
Leader of Tomorrow Award Teen

Chloe is beyond excited to begin her year as Miss Long Island Teen 2020, and after winning her first pageant, she is ready to take the pageant world by storm. She hopes to inspire young women throughout her year, and motivate them to set goals, try new things and conquer!

Chloe is entering her senior year at Long Island Lutheran High School, where she is a member of National and Foreign Language Honor Society. She was the lead in her school’s past 3 musicals and is captain of the 2019-2020 Varsity Dance Team. She enjoys singing and often sings at school events and First Congregational Church on Sundays. She plans on studying Music Business in college in hopes to develop a career in the music industry.

Chloe’s platform is the American Diabetes Association with a focus on juvenile pump therapy. She is extremely passionate about this organization because both her mother and cousin suffer from type one diabetes. Many people are unaware of the struggles children go through while trying to manage their diabetes at a young age, so Chloe plans to raise awareness for adolescent insulin management in hopes to help children better control their diabetes. Alongside raising awareness for her platform, Chloe hopes to change the stigma behind pageants and “beauty queens” by displaying beauty with brains and enabling everyone to feel beautiful in their own skin.
